Model 45009 solves one specific problem: a USB-C source device needs to play through an analogue 3.5mm AUX input and charge at the same time. The main USB-C male plug connects to the phone, tablet or computer; the 3.5mm male plug connects to a car stereo, powered speaker, receiver or other AUX input.

Simultaneous listening and power

Digital-to-analogue audio
The source sends compatible digital audio through USB-C. Model 45009 converts it to analogue stereo for the 3.5mm TRS plug, with an official maximum format of 48kHz/16-bit.
Two charger interfaces

The DAC's 48kHz/16-bit ceiling and the charger's 60W/18W input ceilings describe different parts of the product. Audio quality and charging rate are independently limited by the connected equipment.
