UGREEN 30701 changes the physical connector available at a host from USB-C to USB-A female while preserving ordinary USB data behavior. The USB-C male end belongs at the computer, phone or tablet; the USB-A female end receives a peripheral. It does not reverse a device-only USB-C port into a host.
On a compatible USB 3.0 path, the theoretical interface ceiling is 5Gbps. A USB 2.0 peripheral, older host controller, slow flash drive, filesystem or additional hub will negotiate or perform at a lower rate. The adapter cannot make the attached device faster than its own interface.
Phones and tablets impose extra limits. They must expose USB OTG/host mode, supply enough current and understand the peripheral class and filesystem. A keyboard or flash drive can work while a bus-powered HDD, capture device or specialised controller may not.
