AUX IN and headphone OUT are different. A TV’s audio input cannot feed the transmitter. In receiver mode, connect to an amplifier, car stereo or powered speaker with an appropriate audio input.

Pair a second compatible headset so two people can hear the same source. Each headset’s buffering and volume controls may differ.
RX: two connected phones
Connect two source devices and take turns. Play from one phone at a time; this is not an audio mixer.
For a shared TV session, test your exact pair of headphones before settling in. Audio delay can vary between devices even when both receive the same programme.

Music in an older car
Select RX, connect to the car’s AUX input and select AUX on the stereo. Stream from a compatible phone without replacing the head unit.
TV and travel listening
Select TX and connect to a compatible headphone output. A dual-prong aircraft socket is not a direct fit; check the seat’s audio connection before travelling.
Not a direct digital-audio connection. There is no optical, HDMI ARC/eARC or USB-audio input. A separate suitable converter may be required for equipment without analogue audio; it is not included.

Compatible iPhones and iPads can act as Bluetooth audio sources in RX mode. Headphone compatibility must be checked separately.

Compatible Galaxy and other Android devices can stream Bluetooth audio to the adapter in RX mode. No headphone jack is needed on the phone.

For TVs, PCs and projectors
TX requires a working analogue audio output. Select the correct output in the source’s sound settings. A USB socket alone is not enough.
For stereos and speakers
RX requires an appropriate analogue input. Passive loudspeakers need an amplifier; the adapter is not a speaker power amplifier.
Other buying limits: For musical instruments and live monitoring, use equipment designed for those applications. This is not a hearing-aid streamer, Bluetooth keyboard/mouse dongle, Wi-Fi adapter or wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter.

Calls in receiver mode
The adapter has its own built-in microphone for compatible phone-call use in RX mode. Position it where your voice can reach it and check the phone’s audio routing.
TX is for listening
Do not expect a Bluetooth headset microphone to be sent back through a TV or console headphone socket. This is not a two-way gaming-chat adapter.

Put the headset into pairing mode

Confirm the link and connect the source
Confirm that the headset is connected. Insert the plug into the source’s 3.5 mm output, start audio and raise volume gradually.
Add a second headset in TX
Pair the first headset, then follow the supplied manual’s second-device pairing procedure. Check that both headsets are connected and receiving sound.
First phone · RX mode
Select RX and power on
Move the switch to RX, power on and enter pairing mode following the supplied instructions.
Select the adapter on your phone
Open your phone’s Bluetooth device list and select the adapter. Check its advertised pairing name in the supplied instructions.
Connect to the stereo’s AUX input
Select AUX on the stereo, start playback on the phone and adjust volume gradually.
Add a second phone in RX

What range should I expect?
Walls, a body blocking the signal, metal equipment and radio interference can reduce usable range. Keep the adapter near the listening area for a more dependable link.

Why is it paired but silent?
Check the TX/RX switch, the direction of the wired audio socket and the selected sound output or AUX input. Start playback and check volume on both ends. Pairing confirms a Bluetooth connection, not that the source is sending audio.
Why will my AirPods not pair?
Check support for your exact AirPods generation. Put the earphones into pairing mode using Apple’s instructions and temporarily disconnect competing Bluetooth sources. Bluetooth 5.4 alone does not guarantee compatibility with every headset.
Can a TV use it without a headphone output?
Not directly if the TV only has digital outputs. You need a compatible analogue output or a separately selected digital-to-analogue audio solution. This adapter cannot plug into optical or HDMI ports.
Does it work on every aircraft?
No. It directly fits a single compatible 3.5 mm audio socket. Socket layouts and airline policies vary; dual-prong systems require an appropriate separate adapter.
