The UGREEN USB Sound Card (80864) adds a 3.5mm headset jack to any USB-A port, for music, calls and gaming. It plays at up to 24-bit/96kHz with an SNR of up to 110dB, supports the headset mic, and is the quickest fix for a laptop or PC whose headphone jack has stopped working. The slim aluminium shell won't block neighbouring ports.
A dedicated audio chip plays at up to 24-bit/96kHz with up to 110dB signal-to-noise, so music and game sound stay detailed and free of hiss.
About 18mm wide, it leaves the USB port next to it free for a mouse, drive or receiver.
The metal shell stands up to daily plugging in and out and protects the electronics inside.

What it does. a compact USB-A external sound card that adds one 3.5mm CTIA TRRS headset connection for stereo playback and compatible microphone input.
Signal path. USB-A connects to the computer or supported console host. Digital playback is converted to analogue stereo at the 3.5mm jack, while a compatible TRRS headset microphone is converted back to USB input. The single socket is a combo headset port.
Conversion boundary. UGREEN evidence specifies playback output up to 24-bit/96kHz and microphone input up to 16-bit/48kHz using the ALC4030 chipset. The OS, console and application may negotiate lower settings.
Power design. USB bus-powered with no battery or external supply. It is not a charging adapter and does not power passive speakers.
