Key features
The defining functions of this SKU are separated from headline marketing so connector roles, power, data, length and battery limits remain clear.
USB-C male to USB-C male construction for compatible USB-C chargers, computers, phones, tablets, handhelds and laptops.
Up to 60W charging at 20V/3A; the source, cable path and receiving device must all support the requested USB Power Delivery profile.
PD 3.0 and PPS-compatible operation when both the USB-C charger and device implement those standards.
USB 2.0 data synchronisation up to a theoretical 480Mbps; suitable for routine file transfer rather than high-speed storage workflows.
Soft blue silicone jacket intended to resist tangling and remain flexible in normal indoor use.
gallery claim of 25,000 bending tests under controlled conditions.
One-metre length balances desk reach with manageable cable routing.
Performance and planning
Headline watts and gigabits are negotiated maximums, not universal results. Plan around every device, port, cable, charger, battery state and protocol in the path.
The 60W headline is not forced into every device. A 65W or higher USB-C charger can offer 20V/3A, but a phone may request 9V, PPS or a much lower profile. A laptop that needs 65W, 100W or more may charge slowly, report a low-power source or discharge under load.
This 3A cable does not need a 5A E-marker for its 60W ceiling. It must not be presented as a 100W, 140W or 240W cable; those higher profiles require a suitably rated 5A cable and compatible hardware.
The data path is USB 2.0. Real file-transfer speed is lower than 480Mbps after protocol and storage overhead, and may be limited further by the phone, computer, application or flash memory.
USB-C is a connector shape, not a guarantee of display output. this cable does not carry DisplayPort Alt Mode or video even when both connected devices have USB-C ports.
Use scenarios
These practical examples keep the connector direction, supported protocol and safety limits in view.
Phone and tablet charging. Use with a compatible USB-C PD/PPS charger for negotiated charging of Galaxy, Pixel, USB-C iPhone, iPad and other USB-C devices within the 60W ceiling.
Light laptop charging. Charge a USB-C notebook whose input requirement is 60W or less. For higher-wattage systems, use the computer maker’s appropriately rated charger and 5A cable.
Routine sync and backup. Connect a USB-C phone, tablet or accessory to a USB-C computer for USB 2.0 data after approving any trust or file-transfer prompt.
Travel cable. The soft one-metre lead coils compactly. Store it loosely and keep it separate from keys, liquids and plug pins.
Setup and usability guidance
Use this sequence for a controlled first connection. Follow the connected-device maker’s stricter instruction whenever it differs.
Check that both ports are USB-C and that the required job is charging or USB 2.0 data—not display output or high-speed storage.
Inspect the plugs and device ports for lint, moisture, corrosion or damage before connecting power.
For fastest supported charging, use a certified USB-C PD/PPS charger whose output profile matches the receiving device.
Insert both USB-C plugs fully and route the cable with slack so neither connector supports the weight of a charger, hub or device.
Confirm the device’s charging indicator and monitor temperature during the first high-power session. Final wattage changes with battery state and system load.
For data, unlock the device and choose the required file-transfer mode. Eject mounted storage and stop transfers before unplugging.
Compatible devices and systems
A connector that fits is only the first check. The host, accessory, operating system and power source must support the requested function.
USB-C phones including compatible Galaxy, Pixel, USB-C iPhone and other models that accept standard USB-C charging or USB 2.0 data.
USB-C iPad, Android tablets and other tablets whose charging demand is within the cable’s 60W ceiling.
USB-C laptops such as compatible MacBook, Chromebook and Windows notebooks when their required input is 60W or less; high-power models may charge slowly.
USB-C power banks, earbuds cases, game controllers and handheld devices that follow a supported USB-C charging profile.
USB-C computers for USB 2.0 synchronisation with compatible USB-C phones, tablets and accessories.
Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, Android and iOS/iPadOS at the cable layer; data access still depends on the device and software.
What this product does
These are the supported functions of this product when the complete connection is compatible.
Carries negotiated USB-C charging power up to 60W at 20V/3A.
Works with PD 3.0 and PPS when the source and device support those modes.
Carries USB 2.0 data up to a theoretical 480Mbps.
Connects two USB-C receptacles with reversible plugs.
Provides a flexible one-metre silicone charging lead.
What this product does not do
These exclusions distinguish this SKU from visually similar cables, chargers, hubs, audio products and power stations.
Choose by function: If the required task appears in this exclusion list, select a purpose-built cable, charger, adapter or power product with the needed interface and rating.
Does not support more than 60W and must not be sold as a 100W, 140W or 240W cable.
Does not carry DisplayPort Alt Mode, HDMI, Thunderbolt or USB4 video.
Does not provide 5Gbps, 10Gbps, 20Gbps or 40Gbps data.
Does not add fast charging when the charger or device lacks a compatible profile.
Does not convert USB-C to Lightning, Micro-USB or USB-A.
Does not act as a charger by itself; a power source is required.
What to do
These habits support reliable charging, data, audio and battery use while reducing avoidable connector strain.
Match the charger output and device input before relying on the 60W ceiling.
Use a direct USB-C connection for the cleanest negotiation.
Leave enough slack that moving the phone or laptop does not lever the connector.
Coil the silicone cable loosely and use the fitted organiser without over-tightening it.
Keep both connector ends dry, clean and protected in a bag.
Label it as 60W/USB 2.0 if mixed with faster display or EPR cables.
What not to do
Avoid these common mistakes even when the plug appears to fit.
Do not use it for a monitor, video dock or Thunderbolt storage path.
Do not expect 60W from a USB-A adapter, low-power port or incompatible charger.
Do not pull a connected device by the cable or bend sharply at the plug.
Do not run the cable under furniture, through a doorway or across a walkway.
Do not coil it tightly around a warm charger while power is flowing.
Do not continue using a nicked, swollen, scorched or intermittently disconnecting cable.
Warnings and limitations
Review these electrical, thermal, transport and physical limits before connecting valuable equipment.
Stop and recheck: Disconnect power if a connection becomes loose, wet, damaged, swollen, unstable or unusually hot. Never keep reconnecting equipment that shows a safety warning.
Stop using the product if a connector, cable jacket, battery enclosure or plug is bent, cracked, loose, swollen, scorched or unusually hot.
Keep connectors dry and free of lint or metal debris. Disconnect power before cleaning; never probe a port with metal.
Never modify, splice, crush or tightly knot a charging cable, charger or battery pack.
High-power charging can warm the charger, cable ends and device. Disconnect and inspect if heat becomes excessive, charging cycles repeatedly or an odour appears.
A higher-wattage charger is safe only when standards-compliant negotiation is working; the device selects its accepted profile. Avoid unverified power sources.
Check before ordering
Confirm connector direction, required protocol, power profile, cable length and package needs before choosing by appearance.
Confirm both devices have USB-C receptacles.
Confirm 1m provides enough reach without an extension or tension.
Confirm the required charging power is 60W or less.
Confirm the charger supports the device’s PD or PPS profile.
Choose a 5A cable if the intended device requires more than 60W.
Choose a video-capable or higher-speed data cable if the task is not USB 2.0 sync.
Care and troubleshooting
Disconnect power before inspection and change one variable at a time when diagnosing a connection.
Disconnect both ends before cleaning. Wipe the silicone jacket and connector shells with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Store the cable in a relaxed loop; silicone reduces tangling but cannot prevent damage from a tight knot or hard crease.
If charging is slow, verify the charger profile, device input limit, battery temperature, system load and connector cleanliness.
If data is unavailable, unlock the device, select file transfer, test a direct port and remember that some USB-C ports or devices are charge-only.
If power connects and disconnects, stop using the cable until both ports and strain-relief areas have been inspected.
Replace the cable if the jacket splits, internal conductors are visible or either connector becomes loose.

FAQs
Questions buyers ask.
What is the maximum charging power?
Up to 60W at 20V/3A when the USB-C charger and receiving device negotiate that profile.
Can I use a 100W charger with this cable?
A standards-compliant 100W charger can negotiate a lower supported profile, but this cable remains limited to 60W and should not be used for a device that requires more.
Does it support PPS?
It is PPS-compatible when both the USB-C charger and device support PPS; the cable cannot add PPS to an unsupported endpoint.
Will it fast-charge a phone?
Yes when the phone and charger share a compatible USB-C PD/PPS profile. The phone selects its own maximum.
Can it charge a laptop?
Yes for compatible USB-C laptops within the 60W ceiling. A higher-power notebook may charge slowly or not keep up under load.
How fast is data transfer?
Up to the USB 2.0 theoretical maximum of 480Mbps, with lower real throughput after overhead.
Can it connect a laptop to a monitor?
No. this cable does not carry DisplayPort Alt Mode or video.
Is it a Thunderbolt or USB4 cable?
No. It is a 60W charging and USB 2.0 data cable.
Does it need an E-marker?
A 5A E-marker is not needed for the 3A/60W ceiling. Higher USB-C power profiles require a suitable 5A electronically marked cable.
Is a charger included?
No wall charger is identified as included.
What does the 25,000-bend claim mean?
It is the gallery’s controlled flex-test statement. It is not a guarantee against crushing, sharp folding, pets or misuse.
Why is charging slower than 60W?
Charging follows the lowest supported limit among the charger, cable, device, battery state and temperature. Many phones deliberately request far less than 60W.
