The UGREEN LP405 Waterfall-Shaped Car Phone Holder combines a reusable vacuum suction base, adjustable arm and padded spring clamp. Its curved arm lowers the phone from the mounting point, helping you position the display without unnecessarily extending it above the dashboard.

What it does well.
Flexible positioning without an air-vent clip
Waterfall-shaped arm. The curved arm brings the phone down from the suction base, providing additional positioning flexibility on a suitable dashboard.
Vacuum-assisted mounting. A reusable suction surface and vacuum-locking button help create adhesion on a clean, flat and compatible dashboard.
Adjustable from multiple points. Adjust the arm, base and ball joint to move the screen closer, lower or towards a preferred viewing angle.
Padded mechanical clamp. The spring-loaded side arms and lower supports hold compatible phones without magnets, power or a special phone case.
Waterfall design for practical dashboard placement
Instead of holding the phone directly above the suction cup, the curved arm extends forward and down. This gives you more freedom to place the base on a suitable dashboard surface while adjusting the phone closer to your natural viewing area.
Three adjustable sections
The mount can be repositioned through its rotary arm, movable suction base and ball-joint cradle. Make all adjustments while the vehicle is securely parked.

One-button release with a padded spring clamp
Press the release button on the back of the cradle to open the side arms. Place the phone against the padded backrest and push the arms inward until the phone is held evenly. The separated lower supports help retain the phone while leaving access around a centrally positioned charging port.
Safe operation: Insert, remove and adjust the phone only while the vehicle is safely parked.
Position the screen without unnecessarily raising the mount
The downward-curving arm can help keep the phone lower than conventional upright suction mounts. The final position still depends on your vehicle, dashboard shape and installation point. Always ensure that the phone does not obstruct the windscreen, instruments, controls or airbag deployment area.
Reusable vacuum suction base
The suction surface works together with the vacuum-locking button to create adhesion on a compatible dashboard. The pad can be cleaned and reused when installed according to the instructions.

Adhesion time: After attaching and locking the suction base, leave it undisturbed for at least four hours before installing the phone.

Dashboard compatibility is essential
This mount should not be applied to leather or heavily textured dashboards. Strong adhesive contact may mark, discolour or damage unsuitable dashboard materials, while deep surface texture can prevent the suction base from sealing correctly.
If you are uncertain about your dashboard material, consult the vehicle manufacturer before installation. Do not test the suction pad on leather or delicate soft-touch trim.
Installation instructions
- Choose the location: select a smooth, firm, flat and non-leather dashboard area outside the driver’s direct line of sight and airbag deployment zones.
- Check the surface: confirm that the dashboard is not porous, soft-touch, heavily textured, loose, cracked or strongly curved.
- Clean thoroughly: remove dust, oil, wax, silicone polish and dashboard dressing. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Attach the base: place the suction pad flat against the surface and press firmly to remove trapped air.
- Engage the lock: press the vacuum/locking button as directed until the base is securely attached.
- Allow it to set: leave the mount undisturbed for at least four hours before adding the phone.
- Adjust while parked: set the arm, base and ball joint to the preferred position.
- Insert the phone: press the rear release button, position the phone against the cradle and push the side arms inward evenly.
- Perform a stability check: gently test the base, joints and cradle before every journey.
Cleaning and reusing the suction cup
- Release the suction seal gradually using the removal tab; do not pull the mount away by the arm.
- If dust reduces adhesion, rinse the suction surface gently with clean water.
- Allow the pad to air-dry completely before reuse.
- Do not clean the adhesive surface with solvents, oils, dashboard polish or abrasive materials.
- Repeat the surface preparation and four-hour setting process after repositioning.
Important safety and usage guidance
- Install, adjust, insert or remove the phone only while the vehicle is securely parked.
- Never place the mount where it obstructs the windscreen, mirrors, instruments, controls or airbag deployment area.
- Do not install on leather, highly textured, porous, damaged or delicate dashboard surfaces.
- Do not leave the mount exposed to intense direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Heat, dust, surface treatments, dashboard curvature and material ageing can affect adhesion.
- Inspect the suction base, arm joints and cradle regularly and before long journeys.
- Remove the phone if the mount becomes loose or begins to move.

Will this holder fit my phone?
It is intended for approximately 4.7–7.2-inch smartphones measuring no more than approximately 105.5 mm wide and 13 mm thick, including the case.
Can it be used with a phone case?
Yes, provided the combined phone-and-case dimensions remain within the supported limits. Thick rugged cases, card wallets, finger loops and ring holders may interfere with the clamp.
Can I rotate the phone into landscape orientation?
Yes. The 360° ball joint allows portrait or landscape positioning. Adjust and tighten the cradle only while safely parked.
Can it be installed on a leather dashboard?
No. Leather is specifically shown as an incompatible surface. Strong adhesive contact may damage or mark leather.
Will it work on a textured dashboard?
It requires a smooth, firm and relatively flat surface. Highly textured, porous or strongly curved dashboards may prevent the suction cup from forming a proper seal.
Why must I wait four hours after installation?
The setting period helps the suction base establish the best possible contact with the compatible dashboard surface before the phone’s weight is added.
Can the suction cup be reused?
Yes. When dust reduces adhesion, the suction surface can be gently rinsed with clean water and allowed to air-dry completely before reinstallation.
Does the holder charge the phone?
No. It is a passive mechanical holder without wireless charging, magnets, electronics or a battery. A separate charging cable and car charger are required.
Can I connect a charging cable while mounted?
Yes. The separated lower supports provide access around many centrally positioned charging ports, subject to the phone and connector design.
Can I release the phone with one hand?
The rear button opens the clamp for convenient removal. For safety, operate the button and handle the phone only while the vehicle is parked.
