UGREEN Nexode CD289 90549 140W 3-Port GaN Charger
A three-output PD 3.1 wall charger with a 140W USB-C1 path, verified multi-port sharing, a 240W C-to-C cable and India plug adapter in the exact bundle.
Overview
UGREEN 90549 / CD289 is a 140W-class wall charger with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. USB-C1 supports PD 3.1 up to 28V/5A and 140W; USB-C2 reaches up to 100W; USB-A reaches up to 22.5W on a compatible profile. Those are single-port ceilings. With C1 and C2 together the verified split is 65W + 65W; with all three connections it is 65W + 45W + 22.5W. The exact India bundle title includes a Schuko-to-India plug adapter, and official regional materials list a 1.5m 240W USB-C to USB-C cable.

Charging protocols and speed logic
USB-C1 supports USB PD 3.1 including 28V EPR operation, while both USB-C ports support PD/PPS modes within their profiles. USB-A supports common QC/SCP/FCP/AFC-family charging. A compatible 5A EPR cable is necessary but not sufficient for 140W—the device must also request 28V PD 3.1. A 16-inch MacBook Pro may need Apple’s USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable for its particular 140W path.

Setup and usability guidance
- Read the product label and confirm that the mains-input range, fixed plug and wall socket are compatible before connecting power.
- This regional SKU uses fixed EU 2-pin pins. If the socket does not grip them securely, use a properly rated certified adapter rather than forcing or balancing the charger.
- Connect the charger to a sound, dry wall socket; connect a correctly rated cable to the intended USB output; then connect the device.
- For the highest-power session, begin with the strongest documented USB-C output and one device. Add other devices only after checking the sharing table.
- Unplug by holding the charger body. Do not remove it by pulling a charging cable.
- Attach the Schuko-to-India adapter fully before inserting the charger; if the combined assembly sags or feels loose, use a safer socket arrangement.

Predictable dual-C mode
Adapter leverage
Keep the adapter pins and charger contacts clean, dry and free of arcing marks. Replace a damaged plug adapter rather than taping, bending or wedging it.
What this product does
- Converts 100–240V AC mains power into negotiated low-voltage USB charging outputs for compatible electronics.
- Selects a mutually supported voltage and current with the connected device; there is no manual voltage switch.
- Redistributes a finite total power budget when more than one output is occupied.
- Works without an app, account, driver, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
- Supports a verified 65W + 65W dual-laptop arrangement and 65W + 45W + 22.5W all-port arrangement.
What this product does not do
- It is not a voltage converter for AC appliances and it does not create a household AC outlet.
- Its USB connectors are charging outputs, not file-transfer, video, networking or docking ports.
- It cannot force a device to accept a wattage or fast-charge protocol that the device and cable do not support.
- It cannot keep every port at its single-port maximum when several devices share the charger.
- The included pin adapter does not convert voltage and does not make a loose or damaged wall socket safe.
What to do
- Use sound cables rated for the current and power requested by the device.
- Keep the charger uncovered and exposed to air during high-power charging.
- Place the highest-demand device on the strongest documented output.
- Expect a brief charging reset when a connection changes and power is renegotiated.
- Disconnect mains power before cleaning and use only a dry, soft cloth.
- Use a secure socket that supports the weight of the charger and adapter without sagging.
What not to do
- Do not use a loose, scorched, cracked, wet or mechanically damaged wall socket, adapter, cable or charger.
- Do not cover the charger with bedding, clothing or other insulating material.
- Do not force EU pins into a socket that does not accept them securely.
- Do not assume connector shape alone proves protocol or wattage compatibility.
- Do not disassemble the housing or continue use after arcing, smoke, odour, deformation or repeated unexplained shutdown.
- Do not use Apple-specific test imagery as a promise for another device, cable or battery condition.
Warnings and limitations
- The printed wattage is a maximum under defined conditions, not a promise that every device will draw that power.
- Charging normally slows as a battery fills, warms up or applies its own battery-health controls.
- Some warmth is normal at high load. Excessive heat, smell, noise, deformation or cycling requires immediate disconnection.
- This charger is intended for dry indoor use and is not documented as waterproof.
- A plug adapter changes only physical fit; it does not repair a loose socket or create a new charging protocol.
- For some Apple computers, the fastest 140W path may require a separately sourced Apple USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable.
Troubleshooting
C1 stops at 100W or below
Both laptops slow down
Adapter or socket becomes unstable
