Overview

UGREEN 55910B turns one compatible 12–24V vehicle outlet into four USB charging connections. USB-C2 can provide up to 100W by itself to a compatible USB PD device using a suitable detachable cable. The built-in USB-C cable reaches up to 60W alone and retracts into the body. USB-C1 and USB-A can each reach up to 30W alone. The advertised 145W is a shared two-device ceiling—not a single-port figure—and every additional connection changes the available allocation.

Best-fit summary: Drivers who need to charge a USB-C laptop plus several mobile devices and who value a built-in cable, while being willing to follow a clearly defined port-allocation table.

Key features

Best high-power path

Put the most demanding compatible USB-C laptop on USB-C2 with a suitably rated 5A cable.

Built-in convenience

Use the 70cm retractable USB-C lead for a second laptop, tablet or phone, then guide it back gently after disconnection.

Four-device reality

All four devices can charge, but the allocation becomes 65W, 45W, 7.5W and 7.5W rather than four single-port maxima.

Port map and connector roles

USB-C2 receptacle

Primary high-power output: up to 100W alone; profiles to 20V/5A and PPS 5–21V/5A.

Integrated USB-C cable

Up to 60W alone; 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A or 20V/3A; PPS 5–11V/3A.

USB-C1 receptacle

Secondary USB-C output: up to 30W alone; 5V/3A, 9V/3A or 12V/2.5A; PPS 5–11V/3A.

USB-A receptacle

Legacy-cable output: up to 30W alone with 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 10V/2.25A or 12V/2.5A profiles.
Port labels matter: USB-C2 is the only 100W connector. The integrated cable is a separate 60W output, and USB-C1 should not be mistaken for USB-C2.

Exact power allocation

USB-C2 alone Up to 100W with a compatible USB PD device and suitable 5A cable.
Integrated cable alone Up to 60W.
USB-C1 alone Up to 30W.
USB-A alone Up to 30W with a compatible fast-charge profile.
USB-C2 + integrated cable Up to 100W + 45W = 145W total.
All four outputs USB-C2 up to 65W + integrated cable up to 45W + USB-C1 7.5W + USB-A 7.5W.
Read the table before buying: 145W is verified for USB-C2 plus the built-in cable. It is not available from one port and should not be applied to every two-port combination.

Charging protocols and speed logic

The USB-C outputs support USB PD 3.0 and PPS as well as common QC, SCP, FCP, AFC, Apple 5V/2.4A and BC1.2 modes, with port-specific limits. USB-A supports SCP, QC 3.0, FCP, AFC, Apple 5V/2.4A and BC1.2. Protocol support means the charger can negotiate those families; it does not guarantee every proprietary brand label or maximum rate.

100W requirement

A 100W session needs USB-C2, a compatible USB PD device and a 5A e-marked USB-C cable.

PPS behaviour

A PPS-capable phone can request a variable voltage only within the range supported by the chosen USB-C output.

Redistribution

Adding or removing a device can momentarily pause charging while the unit reassigns capacity.

Compatible devices and systems

Phones and tablets

Compatible iPhone, iPad, Galaxy, Pixel and other USB-charged phones or tablets can use the charger with the correct cable. The device still decides the accepted voltage, current and charging label.

Portable electronics

Suitable for USB-charged headphones, cameras, navigation units, handheld consoles, speakers, e-readers and power banks when their input matches a listed profile.

Vehicles

Designed for compatible 12V and 24V accessory or cigarette-lighter sockets. Socket depth, contact condition, fuse rating and whether the outlet stays live while parked are vehicle-specific.

Computers

A USB-C laptop is compatible only if it accepts USB Power Delivery within the stated port ceiling. Some high-performance laptops may charge slowly or only while sleeping.
Compatibility rule: A USB-C connector does not by itself prove 100W support. Check the device input, cable rating and selected port, then account for sharing.

Setup and usability guidance

  1. Park safely before fitting or changing any cables. Confirm that the vehicle outlet is a clean, dry, undamaged 12–24V DC accessory socket.
  2. Insert the charger fully. If there is no power, check whether the vehicle energises that socket only in accessory or ignition mode.
  3. Connect the highest-demand device to the port identified in the power table; then add lower-demand devices one at a time.
  4. Route every cable away from the steering wheel, pedals, gear selector, handbrake, seat rails and airbag deployment areas.
  5. When finished, disconnect devices first. Remove the charger if the vehicle keeps the outlet live while parked and prolonged standby draw is a concern.
No software required: The charger is plug-and-play; correct socket fit, port choice and cable routing are the important setup decisions.

Everyday usability and care

Automatic negotiation

There is no manual voltage switch. The charger, cable and device negotiate a mutually supported profile.

Shared-power awareness

Adding a second or third device can change the available power and briefly reset the active outputs.

Cable choice

Use the correct connector and a cable rated for the requested current. A phone cable is not automatically suitable for laptop-class power.

Heat and ventilation

Keep the housing exposed to cabin air. Warmth can be normal; abnormal heat, smell or cycling is not.

Retractable-cable handling

Pull straight to a lock point; disconnect the device, release with a controlled short pull and guide the cable back rather than letting it snap.

Keep the retractable connector away from seat rails, doors, cup-holder liquids and sharp sideways bends. The fixed lead is not listed as user-replaceable, so careful handling directly affects service life.

What this product does

  • Converts power from a compatible vehicle accessory socket into regulated USB charging outputs.
  • Negotiates a mutually supported charging profile with each device and reallocates available power as connections change.
  • Charges phones, tablets, accessories and—only where the stated port power is sufficient—compatible USB-C computers.
  • Works without an app, driver, Bluetooth connection or vehicle infotainment pairing.

What this product does not do

  • It is not an AC inverter and cannot power equipment that requires a household wall outlet.
  • Its USB connectors are power outputs, not data, CarPlay, Android Auto, display or file-transfer ports.
  • It cannot force a device to accept more power than the device, cable and protocol permit.
  • It does not contain a battery and cannot continue charging after the vehicle socket loses power.
  • It does not provide 145W from a single connector; the strongest individual output is USB-C2 at up to 100W.
  • Do not buy it expecting all four connections to retain 100W, 60W, 30W and 30W simultaneously.

What to do

  • Use sound, correctly rated cables and place the highest-demand device on the strongest documented output.
  • Keep the charger exposed to cabin air and keep the accessory socket free of dust, liquid and conductive debris.
  • Expect a brief charging pause when a device is connected or removed; many multi-port chargers must renegotiate power.
  • Check the connected device’s input requirement instead of judging compatibility from connector shape alone.
  • Disconnect power before cleaning and use only a dry, soft cloth.
  • Use USB-C2 for the highest-demand device and reserve the integrated cable for the second priority device.

What not to do

  • Do not use a wet, loose, scorched, cracked or mechanically damaged vehicle socket, charger or cable.
  • Do not cover the charger with fabric or wedge it where ventilation is blocked.
  • Do not exceed the stated 12–24V DC input range or connect it to an unverified power source.
  • Do not handle connections while driving when doing so could distract the driver or interfere with controls.
  • Do not disassemble the housing or continue use after deformation, burning odour, repeated shutdown or abnormal heat.
  • Do not pull the retractable lead sideways, force it beyond its travel or allow uncontrolled retraction.

Warnings and limitations

  • The vehicle outlet and its fuse must be capable of supplying the requested load. A weak or damaged socket can cause intermittent charging.
  • Charging power normally falls as a battery approaches full charge or becomes warm. This tapering is expected and is not proof of a charger fault.
  • Metal and high-output charger bodies can feel warm during normal operation. Stop use if heat becomes excessive or is accompanied by smell, deformation or repeated cut-outs.
  • The product is not described as waterproof. Protect it from spills, condensation and wet cleaning.
  • A printed wattage is a ceiling under defined conditions, not a promise that every device will draw that amount.
  • At the maximum published input the vehicle outlet can be heavily loaded; confirm the outlet and fuse rating in the vehicle manual.
Stop-use trigger: Disconnect immediately if you notice arcing, smoke, a burning smell, melted plastic, visible deformation or repeated unexplained power loss.

Troubleshooting

No power

Check ignition/accessory mode, reseat the charger, inspect the socket and test a second known-good vehicle outlet if available.

Charging is slow

Test one device alone, use the strongest documented port, verify the cable rating and check the device battery temperature and state of charge.

Power cuts in and out

Inspect for a loose socket fit, debris, worn side contacts or a damaged cable. Repeated cycling is not normal when connections are unchanged.

Fast-charge label is missing

Confirm that the port, cable and device share the required PD, PPS, QC or manufacturer-specific profile. A standard fallback charge may still work.
Useful diagnostic: If a laptop reports slow charging, test USB-C2 alone with a known 5A cable. If performance improves, the prior limit was probably cable capability or shared-port allocation.

Product-specific FAQ

What is the maximum output?
The maximum verified total is 145W when USB-C2 supplies up to 100W and the built-in cable supplies up to 45W. USB-C2 alone reaches up to 100W.
How does power change when more than one device is connected?
With all four outputs occupied, the documented allocation is 65W on USB-C2, 45W on the built-in cable, and 7.5W each on USB-C1 and USB-A.
Can it charge a laptop?
Yes, for compatible USB PD laptops. Use USB-C2 and a 5A e-marked cable for the strongest result; laptops needing more than 100W may charge slowly under load.
Which port should I use first?
Use USB-C2 for the highest-demand USB-C device. The built-in cable is the second-priority output; USB-C1 and USB-A are lower-power when all four outputs are active.
Does it support fast charging?
Yes. The USB-C outputs support PD 3.0 and PPS plus several common fast-charge families. Actual speed depends on the selected port, device, cable and number of active outputs.
Will it work in a 24V truck or commercial vehicle?
It is specified for compatible 12–24V DC vehicle accessory sockets. Confirm mechanical fit and electrical capacity in the vehicle documentation.
Why can charging briefly stop when another device is connected?
The charger may reset and renegotiate its output when the active port combination changes. A short pause is normal; repeated cycling without a connection change is not and should prompt a cable, socket and device check.
Why is the real charging speed lower than the printed wattage?
The printed figure is a maximum. Device input limits, cable capability, battery level, temperature, active-port sharing and the available power source all influence the real rate.
Does it transfer data or connect to an infotainment system?
No. The USB connections on this charger are for charging power only; they do not carry files, video, CarPlay or Android Auto data.
What is included in the package?
One UGREEN 55910B charger with its attached 70cm retractable USB-C cable and one user manual are listed. A separate detachable cable is not listed.
How do I confirm this is the correct model?
Match SKU 55910B and, where shown, model 55910 on the product or retail label before relying on this page's port and power tables.
