UGREEN 20719 adapts physical connector types within a passive analogue route: full-size 3-pin XLR female at one end and 6.35mm TS mono male at the other. The XLR female commonly mates with a microphone’s male XLR output, while the TS plug enters a compatible mono microphone or line input.
Highlights
Know every end
This cable is physically unlike a normal XLR extension. The XLR female and TS male endpoints must match the actual device roles and signal levels.
Where it makes sense
Use SKU 20719 only where the XLR-source-to-TS-input roles are explicitly supported. A physical fit does not guarantee enough level or correct impedance.
Connect with confidence
Because the endpoint changes from balanced-capable XLR to unbalanced TS, start with equipment muted and confirm the receiving input mode before raising gain.
Match the physical and electrical interface
Compatibility requires the connector genders, analogue signal type and voltage/impedance expectations to match.
Capabilities
Clear boundaries
Good practice
Avoid these mistakes
Important safety and performance notes
The TS endpoint removes the balanced pair and makes correct level selection especially important. Use a proper audio interface or preamp when you need predictable microphone gain, phantom power or balanced noise rejection.
Solve common connection problems
Most issues with this adapter are level, role or grounding problems rather than software. Test with levels down and compare each endpoint against its manual.
