Overview

UGREEN CD294 is a two-output USB-C wall charger. Either USB-C port can provide up to 45W when used alone, using fixed profiles through 20V/2.25A and PPS approximately 3.3–11V/4.05A. When both ports are occupied, the charger deliberately reallocates to 25W + 20W. That split means a 45W laptop or phone will no longer receive 45W after a second cable is connected. The regional unit uses fixed EU 2-pin mains pins; no India plug adapter or charging cable is confirmed.

Best-fit summary: A phone, tablet, handheld or light USB-C laptop user who wants one small charger for one 45W device or two lower-power devices.

Key features

Either port can lead

Both USB-C receptacles have the same 45W single-port ceiling, so there is no hidden high/low port in one-device use.

Honest two-device split

Connecting both ports changes the allocation to 25W + 20W; the total remains 45W.

PPS support

Compatible phones can negotiate a variable PPS voltage within the documented 3.3–11V range.

Port map and connector roles

USB-C1

Up to 45W alone: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A or 20V/2.25A; PPS 3.3–11V/4.05A.

USB-C2

Same up-to-45W single-port profiles as USB-C1.

Both ports

Power is reallocated to 25W + 20W; neither port remains at 45W.

Fixed mains plug

EU 2-pin; 100–240V electrical input does not guarantee a secure fit in every Indian socket.
Port labels matter: C1 and C2 are equal when used alone. The active-device order determines which connected device receives the 25W or 20W share; reconnect if priority needs to be changed.

Exact power allocation

USB-C1 alone Up to 45W.
USB-C2 alone Up to 45W.
USB-C1 + USB-C2 25W + 20W = 45W total.
Fixed PD profiles 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A or 20V/2.25A.
PPS range Approximately 3.3–11V/4.05A on a compatible device.
Read this before connecting several devices: 45W is available from either port only when it is the sole active output. Two connected devices share 25W + 20W.

Charging protocols and speed logic

Official UGREEN CD294 sources list USB PD 3.0, PPS and common QC 4+/3.0, FCP, AFC, Apple 5V/2.4A and BC1.2 modes. The exact fixed outputs are 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/2.25A, with PPS approximately 3.3–11V/4.05A. A Galaxy 45W session normally needs a compatible device and 5A USB-C cable because its PPS current exceeds ordinary 3A cable capability.

45W PPS caveat

A printed 45W cable is not enough by itself; the phone, cable e-marker and charger PPS range must all match.

Fallback is normal

Unsupported proprietary modes fall back to a common PD or 5V charging profile rather than being forced.

Second-device reset

Adding a second cable can briefly pause charging while the new 25W + 20W allocation is established.

Compatible devices and systems

Phones

Compatible Galaxy, Pixel, iPhone and other USB-C phones can charge within their own PD/PPS limit; fastest branded modes are device- and cable-specific.

Tablets and handhelds

Compatible iPad, Android tablets, Switch-class and handheld devices can use either USB-C port when their input fits a listed profile.

Light USB-C laptops

A notebook that accepts 45W or less can charge from one port; some systems may report slow charging under heavy use.

Not for 65W+ workloads

A computer requiring 65W, 90W, 100W or more will be below its intended power and may charge slowly or not keep pace.
Compatibility rule: Check whether one device needs the full 45W. If it does, leave the other port empty or choose a higher-total charger.

Use scenarios

Single 45W phone or tablet

Use either port alone with the device’s recommended cable for the strongest available session.

Phone + watch charger

The 25W + 20W split can suit two lower-power devices whose inputs fit those ceilings.

Travel-light laptop

Charge a 30W–45W USB-C notebook alone, while recognising that adding a phone drops the laptop allocation.

Bedside pair

Power two compatible devices from one socket without leaving a misleading expectation of 45W + 45W.

Setup and usability guidance

  1. Read the product label and confirm that the mains-input range, fixed plug and wall socket are compatible before connecting power.
  2. This regional SKU uses fixed EU 2-pin pins. If the socket does not grip them securely, use a properly rated certified adapter rather than forcing or balancing the charger.
  3. Connect the charger to a sound, dry wall socket; connect a correctly rated cable to the intended USB output; then connect the device.
  4. For the highest-power session, begin with the strongest documented USB-C output and one device. Add other devices only after checking the sharing table.
  5. Unplug by holding the charger body. Do not remove it by pulling a charging cable.
  6. For a Galaxy-class 45W PPS session, use one port only and a compatible 5A USB-C cable.
Setup principle: Start with one device on the strongest intended output, then add lower-priority devices.

Everyday usability and care

Equal single-port choice

Use whichever receptacle provides the better cable route; both are rated alike alone.

Two-device priority

If the wrong device receives the larger share, disconnect both and reconnect the priority device first before adding the second.

Compact travel form

The small body reduces bag space, but the fixed EU plug may still require a securely rated physical adapter.

Normal power change

A charging icon can disappear briefly when a second device triggers renegotiation.

Protect the fixed pins from bending in a bag and keep both USB-C ports clear of lint. Do not leave a heavy adapter assembly hanging from a loose socket.

What this product does

  • Converts 100–240V AC mains power into negotiated low-voltage USB charging outputs for compatible electronics.
  • Selects a mutually supported voltage and current with the connected device; there is no manual voltage switch.
  • Redistributes a finite total power budget when more than one output is occupied.
  • Works without an app, account, driver, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
  • Provides a documented 25W + 20W simultaneous split.

What this product does not do

  • It is not a voltage converter for AC appliances and it does not create a household AC outlet.
  • Its USB connectors are charging outputs, not file-transfer, video, networking or docking ports.
  • It cannot force a device to accept a wattage or fast-charge protocol that the device and cable do not support.
  • It cannot keep every port at its single-port maximum when several devices share the charger.
  • It does not provide 45W + 45W when both ports are occupied.

What to do

  • Use sound cables rated for the current and power requested by the device.
  • Keep the charger uncovered and exposed to air during high-power charging.
  • Place the highest-demand device on the strongest documented output.
  • Expect a brief charging reset when a connection changes and power is renegotiated.
  • Disconnect mains power before cleaning and use only a dry, soft cloth.
  • Use a compatible 5A cable when a device’s 45W PPS mode requires more than 3A.

What not to do

  • Do not use a loose, scorched, cracked, wet or mechanically damaged wall socket, adapter, cable or charger.
  • Do not cover the charger with bedding, clothing or other insulating material.
  • Do not force EU pins into a socket that does not accept them securely.
  • Do not assume connector shape alone proves protocol or wattage compatibility.
  • Do not disassemble the housing or continue use after arcing, smoke, odour, deformation or repeated unexplained shutdown.
  • Do not buy it for a laptop that specifies 65W or more and expect full performance.

Warnings and limitations

  • The printed wattage is a maximum under defined conditions, not a promise that every device will draw that power.
  • Charging normally slows as a battery fills, warms up or applies its own battery-health controls.
  • Some warmth is normal at high load. Excessive heat, smell, noise, deformation or cycling requires immediate disconnection.
  • This charger is intended for dry indoor use and is not documented as waterproof.
  • A plug adapter changes only physical fit; it does not repair a loose socket or create a new charging protocol.
  • No India adapter or USB-C cable is confirmed in the exact bundle.
Stop-use trigger: Disconnect immediately for arcing, smoke, burning smell, melted material, visible deformation or repeated unexplained power loss.

Troubleshooting

Phone will not show 45W mode

Use one port only, verify device PPS support and use the cable class required by the phone manufacturer.

Laptop slows when phone connects

This is the documented 25W + 20W split. Disconnect the phone to restore a possible 45W laptop session.

EU plug is loose

Disconnect and use a secure compatible socket or properly rated adapter. Do not wedge the charger in place.

Charging repeatedly cycles

Test one device and known-good cable at a time. Repeated restarts without a connection change require inspection.
Useful diagnostic: Test the priority device alone on each port with the same known-good cable. If both behave alike, then add the second device and confirm the expected 25W + 20W change.

Product-specific FAQ

What is the maximum charging output?
Either USB-C port can provide up to 45W when used alone. The charger total is 45W.
How does power change with multiple devices?
With both ports occupied, the documented allocation is 25W + 20W, not 45W + 45W.
Can it charge a laptop?
It can charge a compatible USB-C laptop that accepts 45W or less. Higher-demand computers may charge slowly or fail to keep pace.
Which output or charging area should I use first?
Either port is equivalent alone. For two devices, connect the priority device first and then the lower-demand device.
Which fast-charging standards does it support?
It supports PD 3.0, PPS and common quick-charge families. Actual branded fast charging still depends on device and cable.
Can this regional product be used in India?
The electrical input supports India mains voltage, but the fixed EU 2-pin plug may require a secure rated adapter. None is confirmed in the box.
Why can charging pause or restart?
A brief pause after adding or removing a cable is normal because the charger changes between 45W single-port and 25W + 20W dual-port operation.
Why can real charging speed be lower than the printed wattage?
The device input, cable rating, active second port, battery temperature and state of charge can all reduce real speed.
Do any of these connectors transfer data?
No. Both USB-C receptacles are charging outputs only.
What is included in the package?
One 90573 EU-plug charger, user manual and warranty card are listed. No USB-C cable or India plug adapter is listed.
How do I confirm this exact model?
Match SKU 90573 and model CD294 in grey. The white 15327 is the same CD294 electrical platform but a distinct retail SKU.
