Product introduction

Overview

UGREEN 45000 is a balanced single-display hub for 4k60 hdmi, three fast data ports, wired networking and pd input.

This page separates connector ceilings from real simultaneous performance, explains host requirements before purchase, and names the functions this exact model does not provide.

Research used exact live UGREEN India media and exact-SKU official UGREEN material; Accepted exact gallery: 4K60, three 10Gbps data ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 100W PD input. Rejected the current page's unqualified claim that every function can run at its individual maximum simultaneously.

One HDMI display is supported up to 4K60 when the host USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode.

3 × 10Gbps data

The two USB-A and one USB-C data ports are each labelled up to 10Gbps but share the upstream host bandwidth.

Gigabit Ethernet

The PD socket accepts up to 100W from a compatible charger/cable.

100W PD input

Single-monitor office desk

Port-by-port clarity

Every connection explained

HDMI

One external display up to 4K60.

2 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 2

Up to 10Gbps data.

USB-C 3.2 Gen 2

Up to 10Gbps data; not documented for video or charging.

RJ45 Ethernet

10/100/1000Mbps wired network.

USB-C PD input

Up to 100W charger input; actual host output is lower.

Integrated USB-C host lead

Single shared connection for hub functions.

UGREEN 45000 six-in-one port map with 4K60 HDMI 10Gbps USB Ethernet and PD
The exact map identifies HDMI, two USB-A 10Gbps ports, one USB-C 10Gbps data port, Gigabit Ethernet and the separate 100W PD input.

Display planning

Resolution, topology and host limits

One HDMI display is supported up to 4K60 when the host USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode.

Mirror and one extended external desktop are supported according to the host OS. There is no second display output.

The host GPU, USB-C DP version, HDMI cable and monitor all need to support the requested mode.

This is a native USB-C hub, not DisplayLink and not a Thunderbolt dock.

UGREEN 45000 single-monitor mirror and extended display modes
The one HDMI output can mirror or extend a compatible host desktop; there is no second independent display connector.

Shared resources

USB, card and network performance

The two USB-A and one USB-C data ports are each labelled up to 10Gbps but share the upstream host bandwidth.

USB-C data does not imply video output or PD source capability.

Gigabit Ethernet performance depends on router, cable, local network and ISP.

UGREEN 45000 USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer artwork with 10Gbps ceiling
The USB-A and USB-C data ports are 10Gbps-class connections, but their real transfers share one upstream host link.

Power path

PD input, host delivery and included power

The PD socket accepts up to 100W from a compatible charger/cable.

Do not promise 100W to the laptop; the dock reserves power and the actual negotiated output depends on the host.

External PD power is recommended for multiple bus-powered storage devices.

UGREEN 45000 Gigabit Ethernet socket and 1000Mbps link artwork
The RJ45 port negotiates up to Gigabit Ethernet when the network equipment and cable also support 1000Mbps.

Practical connection order

Setup and usability guidance

  1. Confirm the exact SKU on the product or invoice.
  2. Check the host port for required video, data and charging roles.
  3. Place the hub/dock on a stable, open surface; place stand models before loading a device.
  4. Connect required external power before the host when the model requires or benefits from it.
  5. Connect the host using the marked upstream lead or port.
  6. Attach one display first and confirm a stable picture before adding others.
  7. Add Ethernet, storage, cards and low-speed peripherals one group at a time.
  8. Configure display arrangement, resolution and refresh in the operating system.
  9. Eject storage/cards before unplugging; disconnect high-power accessories before packing.

Model-specific answers

Product-specific FAQ

What exact model is this?

This guide is for UGREEN 45000 only. Similar UGREEN hubs and docks can use different video, data and charging controllers.

What must my USB-C host support?

For video, the host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode. Data and charging functions also depend on the host port's own implementation.

Can every port reach its maximum at the same time?

No. Displays, USB storage, cards and Ethernet share the upstream host link and available power. Individual port labels are ceilings, not simultaneous aggregate guarantees.

Will it charge my laptop or handheld?

The PD socket accepts up to 100W from a compatible charger/cable. Do not promise 100W to the laptop; the dock reserves power and the actual negotiated output depends on the host.

Is the wall charger included?

No wall charger is listed in the base package unless your retailer explicitly sells a charger bundle.

Does it support an external display?

One HDMI display is supported up to 4K60 when the host USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode. Mirror and one extended external desktop are supported according to the host OS. There is no second display output.

Can I use it with a Mac?

MacBook and Windows laptops with compatible USB-C

Is driver installation required?

The native USB/DP Alt Mode functions are designed to be plug-and-play. Keep the operating system, GPU, USB/Thunderbolt and network drivers current. No DisplayLink claim is made unless explicitly stated.

Is it normal for the hub to become warm?

Some warmth is normal when converting video, network, data and power in a compact enclosure. Keep it uncovered and disconnect it if heat becomes abnormal or operation unstable.

What should I check if a display is blank?

Confirm DP Alt Mode, reconnect power where required, use a qualified display cable, select the correct monitor input, lower resolution/refresh, and update host graphics/USB drivers.

Can I disconnect it while copying files?

Stop transfers and safely eject storage or cards first. Removing the hub during a write can corrupt open files or the filesystem.

Delivery was on time and product is working great. The only issue I face was regarding wire. It's a short & hard wire which doesn't fold 45° so that I can tuck it close to laptop.

The transfer speed is insane and it feels premium, the cable length is perfect. Really liked the product.
