The gooseneck uses a flexible aluminium-magnesium alloy core protected by an outer sleeve. It can be shaped into curves that bring the phone to a convenient position while maintaining tension under a compatible smartphone load.
The adjustable base clamp and phone cradle include padded contact areas that help reduce slipping and direct abrasion. Always clean the furniture surface and pads before installation, as trapped dust or grit can still mark delicate finishes.
Hands-free viewing beside the bed
Attach the clamp to a strong, flat headboard or bedside surface and position the screen for videos, reading or calls. A broad S-shaped or looped arm configuration generally provides better stability than extending the arm as one long horizontal line.

Shape the arm for better stability
Because the arm is long and flexible, the way it is shaped has a major effect on stability. A compact S, Z or looped curve reduces leverage and usually settles more quickly than a fully extended horizontal arm.
Avoid sharp kinks or repeatedly bending the same small section.
Shorter reach normally provides better stability and less vibration.
Wait briefly after touching or repositioning the phone before recording.

How to install and adjust
- Choose a strong, flat mounting edge no more than approximately 8cm thick.
- Clean the surface and clamp pads to remove dust or particles.
- Open the base clamp and place both padded contact surfaces squarely against the furniture.
- Tighten the clamp until secure. Do not overtighten against delicate furniture.
- With the phone removed, shape the arm into a broad S, Z or looped configuration.
- Open the phone cradle and centre the phone between its padded jaws.
- Confirm that the cradle does not press the phone's side buttons.
- Adjust the ball joint for portrait, landscape or angled viewing.
- Gently test the complete assembly before releasing the phone.
