UGREEN 45800 USB-C Audio and 60W Charging Splitter

Overview

What it does

a USB-C host adapter with two clearly assigned USB-C female ports—one for compatible USB-C audio equipment and one for charging input up to 60W.

Signal path

The attached USB-C male plug connects to the phone, tablet or computer. The headphone-marked USB-C female port carries supported digital audio; the PD-marked USB-C female port accepts charger power toward the host. The ports are not interchangeable.

Conversion boundary

This is a digital USB-C audio pass-through arrangement, not a 3.5mm DAC. Sound format and microphone/inline-control behaviour depend on the host and connected USB-C headset. External USB-C-to-3.5mm adapters are explicitly not supported.

Power design

The PD input supports up to 60W with a suitable PD charger and cable, while the host ultimately decides the accepted power. The adapter has no battery and does not add wireless charging.

Connector rule: an output must feed the matching input. Physical fit does not prove electrical role, microphone wiring, charging protocol or signal level.

Safe start: lower volume or gain, check labels and connect one complete path before adding any charger, second endpoint or application.

1. Step 1: Identify the headphone and PD symbols before connecting anything.
2. Step 2: Connect the attached USB-C male plug firmly to the host.
3. Step 3: Connect only a compatible USB-C headset or audio device to the headphone-marked port.
4. Step 4: Connect a suitable USB-C PD charger and cable to the PD-marked port.
5. Step 5: Verify audio at low volume and check the host charging indicator; stop if any connector becomes unusually hot.

Usability tip: test playback and microphone or charging separately before relying on simultaneous operation.

Compatible USB-C hosts that support digital USB audio and USB-C charging, including exact-listed phones, tablets, MacBook/Surface-class computers, PS5/PS4 and Xbox-class hosts. Actual console voice-chat support still depends on the console and USB-C headset profile.

• Match the connector role and wiring standard.
• Check host operating-system audio settings and app permissions.
• For USB audio, confirm the port supports data/audio rather than charging only.
• For analogue audio, confirm input versus output and headset TRRS versus stereo TRS.
• For XLR, confirm signal level, balanced wiring and phantom-power requirements.

Confirm SKU

Check 45800 on the product or package before relying on these specifications.

Start at low level

Lower headphone volume, speaker level, microphone gain or channel fader before connection.

Test one path

Verify one source, adapter/cable and destination before adding more equipment.

Keep ports clean and dry

Disconnect power, remove lint without metal tools and allow complete drying before reuse.

Use system settings

Select the intended playback and recording devices; physical connection alone may not change routing.

Store without stress

Coil cables loosely and protect exposed plugs, pins and adapter housings.

Do not force a fit

Stop if alignment, case clearance, pins or latch do not match.

Do not guess direction

Inputs and outputs can share the same connector shape.

Do not overstate formats

Use only the sample-rate or signal claim listed for this SKU.

Do not use at unsafe volume

High playback levels can injure hearing and overload equipment.

Do not patch live phantom power

For XLR, mute and disable phantom power before changing connections.

Do not create hazards

Keep leads away from pedals, controls, doors, wheels, children and walkways.

Power behaviour: The PD input supports up to 60W with a suitable PD charger and cable, while the host ultimately decides the accepted power. The adapter has no battery and does not add wireless charging.

• Use only compliant, undamaged hosts, chargers and cables.
• Disconnect for unusual heat, smell, intermittent power, corrosion or visible damage.
• Do not cover adapters during charging or operation.
• Keep all contacts dry and free of conductive debris.
• No product in this batch should be treated as weather-resistant unless an IP rating is published.

No playback

Check source output selection, destination input, mute state, volume and full connector seating.

No microphone

Confirm an mic-return path, correct TRRS/XLR wiring, recording-device selection and app permission.

Charging absent or slow

Confirm that this SKU supports charging, then test a compatible charger/cable and inspect host limits.

Noise or hum

Separate signal leads from power bricks, test another port/path and verify balanced grounding or AUX input role.

One channel missing

Reinsert the plug fully, inspect contacts and test each device with a known-good cable or headset.

USB device not recognised

Try a direct data-capable USB port, reboot audio services and check operating-system support.
