Overview

UGREEN 55995B / PB552 is a 25,000mAh power bank rated at 90Wh. It has two built-in USB-C cables, one additional USB-C port and one USB-A port. The main built-in cable can provide up to 140W alone; the second built-in cable and additional USB-C path can each reach up to 65W; USB-A reaches up to 33W on a compatible UFCS profile. The headline 165W mode is specifically the two built-in cables at 100W + 65W. With all four outputs occupied, the exact India listing documents 65W + 65W + 10W + 10W = 150W total.

Best-fit summary: A traveller or mobile professional who needs laptop-class USB-C power away from mains and values two attached cables plus a clear remaining-charge display.

Key features

Two built-in C cables

The main lead handles the 140W single path; the secondary lead reaches 65W and pairs with it for the 165W headline arrangement.

90Wh energy rating

The 90Wh battery sits below the common 100Wh threshold, but it still belongs in cabin baggage and remains subject to airline rules.

Low-current mode

A roughly three-second button hold enables a timed mode for earbuds, watches and trackers that draw very little current.

Two attached USB-C cables reduce the need to pack separate leads, but they still need careful handling.

Port map and connector roles

Built-in USB-C1 cable

Output up to 140W: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 10V/2.25A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A or 28V/5A; PPS 5–21V/5A. Input up to 90W.

Built-in USB-C2 cable

Output up to 65W: profiles through 20V/3.25A; PPS 5–11V/5A or 5–21V/3.25A. Input up to 65W.

USB-C receptacle

Input/output up to 65W with the same documented secondary USB-C profile family. Requires a separate cable.

USB-A receptacle

Up to 33W on compatible UFCS 5.5–11V/3A; common fixed profiles include 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 10V/2.25A and 12V/1.5A.
Port labels matter: Use the main built-in C1 cable for a single high-power laptop. Use both built-in cables for the verified 100W + 65W / 165W mode.
UGREEN PB552 USB-C and USB-A port layout beside two built-in cables
Four outputs in total: two built-in USB-C cables, one USB-C receptacle and one USB-A receptacle.

Exact power allocation

Main built-in C1 alone Up to 140W with compatible 28V PD 3.1 hardware.
Built-in C2 alone Up to 65W.
USB-C receptacle alone Up to 65W.
USB-A alone Up to 33W on compatible UFCS; up to 22.5W on common listed fixed profiles.
Two built-in USB-C cables 100W + 65W = 165W total.
All four outputs 65W + 65W + 10W + 10W = 150W total according to the exact current India listing.
Recharging input Up to 90W through the main USB-C1 cable; secondary built-in C2 / USB-C port supports up to 65W input. Do not use two input paths simultaneously.
Read this before connecting several devices: 165W is not the all-port total and not a single output. It is the documented two-built-in-cable 100W + 65W combination; all-four mode is 150W.

The 165W headline is achieved by the two built-in cables at 100W + 65W.

Charging protocols and speed logic

The main USB-C1 path supports USB PD 3.1 including 28V/5A and PPS 5–21V/5A. The secondary built-in cable and USB-C port support up to 65W with their own PPS ranges. Official UGREEN material lists PD 3.1, PPS, UFCS, SCP and QC families. USB-A can reach 33W only on a compatible UFCS session; many devices will use 22.5W or lower fixed modes. The charger and device always negotiate the actual profile.

140W requirement

The main cable needs a compatible 28V PD 3.1 device; a 20V-only computer will request less.

UFCS is device-specific

The USB-A 33W ceiling is not a universal QC rate; a device without matching UFCS support uses a lower common mode.

Input is separate from output

A 90W recharge rating describes energy entering the power bank, not simultaneous extra output capacity.

Compatible devices and systems

USB-C laptops

Compatible MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo and similar USB PD computers can charge within their own input limits; high-load runtime varies.

Phones and tablets

Compatible iPhone, iPad, Galaxy, Pixel and other devices can use the built-in leads or separate ports and will draw only negotiated power.

Handhelds and accessories

Compatible gaming handhelds, cameras, power banks, headphones and wearables can charge within the appropriate port profile.

Low-current devices

Use the dedicated low-current mode for watches, earbuds and trackers that may otherwise stop when their draw falls below automatic detection.
Compatibility rule: Check USB-C charging support and voltage—not only wattage. A proprietary-input laptop or unsupported 28V device cannot use the 140W mode.

Laptop charging requires a supported USB PD input; the computer still decides its accepted power.

Use scenarios

Two-laptop meeting

Use the two built-in cables for the verified 100W + 65W arrangement when both laptops accept those inputs.

Four-device travel day

All four outputs can serve several devices at 65W + 65W + 10W + 10W, not 165W across all four.

Single high-power laptop

Use the main C1 cable alone for up to 140W and the least complicated charging path.

Earbuds or smartwatch

Hold the button for about three seconds to activate low-current mode, then confirm the accessory is charging.

All-four mode is documented at 150W total: 65W + 65W + 10W + 10W.

Setup and usability guidance

  1. Fully charge the power bank before first use with a suitable USB-C PD charger and a supported input path.
  2. For the fastest supported recharge, use a reliable high-power USB-C PD source and a cable rated for the requested current; a wall charger is not built into the product.
  3. Choose the main 140W-capable built-in USB-C cable for a compatible high-power laptop, or use the second built-in cable and receptacles according to the sharing table.
  4. Press the button if a connected device does not wake the output; hold it for about three seconds to enter or leave low-current mode for small accessories.
  5. Check the display and disconnect devices before packing the power bank away.
  6. Low-current mode automatically exits after about 3.5 hours or can be cancelled with another roughly three-second button hold, according to the exact manual.
Setup principle: Select the correct input or output path and verify the display before packing the unit away.

Everyday usability and care

LED remaining-charge display

Use the screen as a practical estimate and recharge before a critical trip rather than assuming the last percentage equals fixed runtime.

Cable storage

Seat both built-in connectors in their storage positions without sharp bends or side loads.

Low-current timer

The special mode is useful for small accessories and exits automatically after the documented timed period.

Weight awareness

At roughly 550g, the unit is portable but should not hang from a laptop port or built-in cable.

Do not pack the unit while hot. Inspect the housing, display, ports and both built-in cables after any drop, and retire the battery immediately if it swells, leaks or smells unusual.

What this product does

  • Stores 90Wh of energy and provides portable USB charging for compatible laptops, tablets, phones and accessories.
  • Offers two built-in USB-C leads plus one USB-C receptacle and one USB-A receptacle for up to four connected devices.
  • Displays remaining charge and supports a low-current mode for small accessories.
  • Negotiates supported PD, PPS, UFCS, QC, SCP and related charging modes within each path’s limits.
  • Stores energy for portable charging and provides a low-current accessory mode.

What this product does not do

  • It is not a wall charger, AC inverter, UPS or guaranteed seamless pass-through power supply.
  • It does not provide 165W from one connection; its strongest single-output mode is up to 140W.
  • It cannot make an unsupported laptop accept USB-C charging or override a device’s input ceiling.
  • It is not waterproof and its built-in cables are not described as user-replaceable.
  • It does not function as a guaranteed seamless UPS and it does not contain an AC wall outlet.

What to do

  • Use low-current mode for earbuds, watches or trackers that may otherwise fall below the automatic-detection threshold.
  • Keep the battery cool, dry and visible while charging or recharging.
  • Protect both built-in cable ends from crushing, dirt and sharp sideways loads.
  • Carry the 90Wh battery in cabin baggage only and verify the current airline and route rules before travel.
  • Store it partly charged in a cool, dry place during long periods of non-use and inspect it before reuse.
  • Confirm current airline cabin-baggage rules before every flight, even though the battery is marked 90Wh.

What not to do

  • Do not put a power bank in checked baggage, expose it to fire, high heat, direct sun in a parked car or freezing conditions.
  • Do not use or recharge a swollen, leaking, punctured, crushed, dropped or unusually hot battery.
  • Do not recharge through two input paths at the same time.
  • Do not swing, carry or suspend the unit by a built-in cable.
  • Do not disassemble, short the ports or allow metal objects to bridge the connectors.
  • Do not place it in checked baggage or operate it inside a sealed, heat-trapping bag.

Warnings and limitations

  • Airline acceptance is controlled by the carrier and route; 90Wh being below the common 100Wh threshold is not a universal boarding guarantee.
  • Usable delivered capacity is lower than the 25,000mAh cell rating because voltage conversion and charging losses are unavoidable.
  • High-power charging and recharging create heat. Stop immediately for swelling, smell, smoke, leakage or abnormal temperature.
  • Multi-output figures depend on the exact connection combination; the four-output total is lower than the headline dual-cable 165W mode.
  • A high-power laptop may drain the power bank quickly even when charging works correctly.
  • The 25,000mAh figure is the internal cell capacity; usable output capacity is lower after voltage conversion and normal losses.
Stop-use trigger: Stop immediately for swelling, leakage, smoke, burning smell, deformation or abnormal heat.

Troubleshooting

Laptop will not reach 140W

Use the main C1 cable alone and confirm 28V PD 3.1 support. Many laptops stop at 65W or 100W by design.

Small accessory stops charging

Activate low-current mode with an approximately three-second button hold and confirm the display indication.

Power bank recharges slowly

Use a compatible high-power PD source on a supported input path; do not connect two input sources at once.

All-four total is below 165W

That is expected. Exact India data gives 150W all-four allocation; 165W belongs to the two built-in cables only.
Useful diagnostic: For a power complaint, test the main built-in cable and one compatible device alone, then the two built-in cables together. This isolates the 140W single and 165W dual headline modes from four-output sharing.

I purchased this powerbank to charge my legion 5 pro while on the go and at times when I don't have a steady power supply available. If you are also looking for something that can power your gaming laptop on the go then this product works great. The in-built charging cables are a boon even if they don't seems like it at the start. While my laptop is build for pd 3.0 standard, the 160w supply has enough headroom to consistently provide 100w where there is constant supply of power. You won't face power fluctuation issues on this powerbank. Would recommend 10/10 for this specific use case.
