UGREEN 55334
Four 10Gbps USB-C data ports with a separate PD input
UGREEN CM806 (55334) expands one compatible USB-C host into four USB-C data connections and accepts up to 100W Power Delivery input for up to 95W negotiated host charging.
Product introduction
Overview
This compact hub is made for USB-C storage, readers, interfaces and other data peripherals. Its four downstream USB-C ports share one upstream USB-C connection, so 10Gbps is a theoretical maximum rather than a guaranteed rate for every port simultaneously.
A fifth USB-C socket is dedicated to Power Delivery input. With a suitable charger and cable, the hub accepts up to 100W and can pass up to 95W to a compatible host after negotiation and hub consumption.
The four data ports are data-only: they do not output video or provide USB-C PD charging. The PD-IN socket is charging-only and cannot be used for a drive, display or data accessory.
At a glance
Key features
Port-by-port clarity
Connections and signal roles
Attached USB-C host lead
Connects the hub to a compatible USB-C computer, tablet or phone.
Four USB-C data ports
Connect compatible USB-C data peripherals at up to 10Gbps theoretical.
USB-C PD-IN
Accepts a compatible PD charger up to 100W; it carries power only.
Host charging path
Passes up to 95W to a compatible host after negotiation.
USB-C DATA
Keep modern USB-C peripherals connected
Four downstream USB-C ports reduce the need for USB-A adapters when connecting portable SSDs, card readers and other compatible data accessories.
All traffic shares the host link. Actual transfer speed depends on the host, peripheral, cable, file workload and simultaneous activity.
- Four USB-C data sockets
- Up to 10Gbps theoretical
- Shared upstream bandwidth
- No video from downstream ports
POWER DELIVERY
Add negotiated host charging through a dedicated input
Connect a compliant USB-C PD charger to the marked PD-IN port to power the hub and charge a supported host while accessories remain connected.
The 100W figure is input, not guaranteed laptop delivery. The host can receive up to 95W depending on the charger, cable and its accepted profile.
- PD input up to 100W
- Host charging up to 95W
- PD-IN carries no data
- Charger inclusion is not confirmed
Real-world applications
Use scenarios
Choose this exact model when its verified connections and limits match the workflow below.
USB-C storage desk
Connect several USB-C drives or readers while preserving one host port.
Laptop charging setup
Add a suitable PD charger to keep a compatible laptop powered during data work.
Tablet workflow
Use supported USB-C storage and accessories with an OTG-capable tablet.
Travel expansion
Carry one small hub for four modern USB-C data connections.
Practical connection order
Setup and usability guidance
A deliberate connection order makes capability checks and troubleshooting easier.
- Connect the attached USB-C lead to a data-capable host port.
- If host charging is needed, connect a suitable charger to PD-IN.
- Add one USB-C data peripheral and confirm detection.
- Connect additional peripherals one at a time.
- Use rated cables for 10Gbps storage devices.
- Safely eject drives before unplugging them.
- Disconnect the charger before inspecting a damaged connector.
Host and peripheral fit
Compatible devices and systems
Connector shape alone is not enough: the host port, operating system, cable, display and peripheral must support the required function.
USB-C computers
Windows, macOS and Linux hosts can use supported USB data functions.
USB4 and Thunderbolt hosts
Backward-compatible USB data works within the hub's 10Gbps ceiling.
Tablets and phones
Require USB host/OTG support and compatible file-system or accessory handling.
USB-C peripherals
Designed for data accessories, not USB-C monitors or PD-powered devices.
Verified function scope
What this product does
- Adds four USB-C data ports to one compatible host.
- Supports theoretical data rates up to 10Gbps.
- Accepts up to 100W through the dedicated PD input.
- Passes up to 95W negotiated charging to a compatible host.
Boundaries that prevent a mismatch
What this product does not do
- It does not output video from any downstream USB-C port.
- It does not charge devices through the four data ports.
- It does not carry data through the PD-IN socket.
- It does not give every port a dedicated 10Gbps channel.
- It does not include USB-A, Ethernet or card-reader ports.
Recommended practice
What to do
- Use short, specification-compliant USB-C cables.
- Connect PD power for demanding multi-drive use.
- Keep the aluminium enclosure uncovered.
- Back up important data before large transfers.
- Test devices individually when troubleshooting.
Avoid common mistakes
What not to do
- Do not connect a monitor expecting video output.
- Do not use PD-IN as a data port.
- Do not expect the data ports to fast-charge phones or laptops.
- Do not remove storage during a write.
- Do not force or sharply bend connectors.
Read before use
Warnings and limitations
Check before connecting or ordering
- Confirm the host USB-C port supports USB data or OTG.
- Confirm each downstream device needs data rather than video or PD charging.
- Use 10Gbps-capable USB-C cables for high-speed peripherals.
- Expect all four data ports to share one host connection.
- Use a compliant PD charger and rated cable for host charging.
- The 100W figure is input; host delivery is up to 95W.
- A charger and charging cable are not confirmed as included.
Warning / limitation 1
Removing power or storage during a write can corrupt data.
Warning / limitation 2
High-speed USB devices may make the enclosure warm; disconnect it if heat is unusual.
Warning / limitation 3
Actual speed is limited by the slowest host, cable or peripheral and by shared bandwidth.
Warning / limitation 4
Use only compliant PD chargers and cables.
Warning / limitation 5
Some mobile operating systems limit attached storage formats and accessory support.

Model-specific answers
Product-specific FAQ
How many data ports does it add?
It adds four downstream USB-C data ports through one USB-C host connection.
Can each port reach 10Gbps at once?
No. 10Gbps is the theoretical link rate and all ports share the host connection.
Can the data ports drive a monitor?
No. The four downstream USB-C ports do not support video output.
Can the data ports charge a laptop?
No. They are data ports and do not provide USB-C Power Delivery charging.
What is the PD-IN port for?
It accepts a compatible USB-C PD charger to power the hub and provide negotiated charging to the host.
Does PD-IN transfer data?
No. The dedicated PD-IN socket carries charging power only.
Does the laptop receive 100W?
No. The hub accepts up to 100W input and can pass up to 95W to a compatible host after negotiation.
Is a charger included?
A charger is not confirmed in the package information, so plan a compatible charger and cable separately.
Will it work on a USB4 port?
Yes for backward-compatible USB data, within the hub's 10Gbps ceiling and the host's support.
Can it work with a phone or tablet?
Yes when the device supports USB host/OTG mode and the connected peripheral or file system.
Why is a drive slower than 10Gbps?
Real speed depends on the drive, cable, host, workload and activity on the other shared ports.
