UGREEN 55735
A 10-in-1 USB-C dock with 4K60 HDMI and NVMe storage
UGREEN 55735 combines a 4K60 HDMI output, four USB data ports, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/TF readers, Power Delivery input and a 10Gbps M.2 NVMe enclosure.
Product introduction
Overview
The HDMI 2.0 output supports up to 4K at 60Hz when the host USB-C port provides DisplayPort Alternate Mode and the complete display chain supports the selected setting. The attached host cable also carries USB data and negotiated charging.
One USB-A 10Gbps, one USB-C 10Gbps and two USB-A 5Gbps ports connect storage and peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and separate SD/TF readers rated up to 170MB/s add wired networking and memory-card access.
The internal bay accepts compatible M-Key or B+M-key M.2 NVMe drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes through a 10Gbps interface. SATA M.2 drives are not supported and no SSD is included. PD input is up to 100W, with approximately 85W maximum host delivery after dock consumption and negotiation.

Connections and signal roles
HDMI 2.0
Connects one display up to 4K60 from a host with USB-C video output.
Four USB data ports
One USB-C and one USB-A reach up to 10Gbps; two USB-A ports reach up to 5Gbps.
Network and cards
Adds Gigabit Ethernet plus separate SD and TF readers up to 170MB/s.
NVMe and PD
Houses one compatible M.2 NVMe SSD and accepts up to 100W PD input.
DISPLAY AND DESK
Connect one 4K60 screen with network and peripherals
Use HDMI for one external monitor, television or projector up to 4K60 when the host supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and the cable and display support the mode.
Gigabit Ethernet and four data ports help form a compact desk, while the USB-C downstream data port does not itself output video or provide charging.
- One HDMI 2.0 output
- Up to 4K60

BUILT-IN NVME BAY
Add removable high-speed storage inside the hub
Install a compatible 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 M.2 NVMe drive for up to 10Gbps interface performance without carrying a separate enclosure.
The bay does not accept SATA M.2 drives. The SSD is sold separately, and real speed depends on the drive, thermal conditions, host link and simultaneous hub activity.
- M-Key and B+M-key NVMe
- 2230/2242/2260/2280
- SATA M.2 not supported
- SSD not included
Real-world applications
Use scenarios
Choose this exact model when its verified connections and limits match the workflow below.
Single-monitor workstation
Connect a 4K60 display, wired network, peripherals and laptop power through one compatible host port.
Portable project storage
Install an NVMe SSD for working files or backups within the hub.
Photo and video ingest
Read SD or TF cards and copy data to the internal NVMe drive or another connected disk.
Travel dock
Carry display, network, storage and charging connections in one aluminium unit.
Practical connection order
Setup and usability guidance
A deliberate connection order makes capability checks and troubleshooting easier.
- Confirm the host and SSD compatibility before installation.
- Disconnect the hub before opening the NVMe compartment.
- Install the NVMe drive with the applicable supplied mounting parts.
- Close the enclosure before reconnecting it.
- Connect the hub's USB-C host cable to the computer.
- Connect a suitable PD charger if laptop charging is required.
- Connect HDMI, Ethernet, cards and peripherals one at a time.
- Format a new SSD only after verifying the correct disk, and safely eject it before disconnection.
Host and peripheral fit
Compatible devices and systems
Connector shape alone is not enough: the host port, operating system, cable, display and peripheral must support the required function.
USB-C video laptops
HDMI requires DisplayPort Alt Mode, USB4 video or compatible Thunderbolt display output.
USB-C data hosts
Data, Ethernet and storage functions require a standard USB data connection.
M.2 NVMe SSDs
Supports M-Key or B+M-key NVMe drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths.
SATA M.2 SSDs
Not supported by this NVMe-only bay.
Verified function scope

Boundaries that prevent a mismatch
What this product does not do
- It does not make a data-only USB-C host output HDMI video.
- It does not support SATA M.2 SSDs.
- It does not include an NVMe SSD.
- It does not include the PD charger or charging cable.
- It does not output video or charging through the downstream USB-C data port.
Recommended practice
What to do
- Back up data before formatting or repartitioning a drive.
- Use rated HDMI, USB-C and USB cables.
- Keep the aluminium enclosure uncovered for heat dissipation.
- Use a compliant PD charger and cable.
- Safely eject the internal SSD and other storage before disconnecting.
Avoid common mistakes
What not to do
- Do not install or remove an SSD while the hub is connected.
- Do not insert a SATA M.2 drive.
- Do not assume every USB-C host supports HDMI.
- Do not unplug power during a storage write.
- Do not block the enclosure or force the SSD mounting hardware.
Read before use
Warnings and limitations
Check before connecting or ordering
- Confirm the host USB-C port supports video for HDMI use.
- Confirm the display and HDMI cable support 4K60 if that mode is required.
- Confirm the SSD is NVMe, not SATA M.2.
- Confirm the SSD uses a supported 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 size.
- The SSD is not included.
- A PD charger and charging cable are not included.
- The 100W figure is input; host charging is approximately up to 85W.
- Plan for shared data bandwidth during simultaneous storage and card transfers.
Warning / limitation 1
Formatting or repartitioning a drive erases data; verify the selected disk first.
Warning / limitation 2
The hub and SSD can become warm during sustained transfers and charging; stop use if heat is abnormal.
Warning / limitation 3
Removing power or storage during a write can corrupt data.
Warning / limitation 4
Resolution, refresh rate and charging depend on the complete host, cable and device chain.
Warning / limitation 5
Actual NVMe and USB speeds are below protocol maximums and share the host connection.
