Important information before ordering
- This is a phone holder, not a charger: It does not provide wired, MagSafe or wireless charging. A separate charging cable and car charger are required if you want to charge the phone.
- Not compatible with circular vents: The double-hook mechanism is intended for supported straight horizontal, vertical or rectangular vent blades.
- Vent-size limit: The current specification supports vent blades approximately up to 25.41mm deep and 4mm thick.
- Direct magnetic attachment: Designed for MagSafe-equipped iPhones and MagSafe-compatible cases. Other phones or ordinary cases require the supplied adhesive magnetic-ring accessory.
- 2.5kg is a laboratory magnetic-pull figure: It is not a recommendation to mount a 2.5kg device. Real holding performance varies according to phone, case, road, installation and vent strength.
- Check your dashboard layout: Installation must not obstruct the road, mirrors, vehicle controls, hazard switch, infotainment display or any airbag deployment area.

20 N52 magnets arranged for accurate alignment
The magnetic head contains 20 N52-grade neodymium magnets arranged around the circular contact area. This configuration helps align a MagSafe-compatible iPhone or case and distributes magnetic attraction around the phone’s magnetic ring.
UGREEN rates the magnetic pull at up to 2.5kg or approximately 23N under controlled test conditions. Actual grip depends heavily on the phone, case material, ring positioning, vent installation, road vibration and driving conditions.
Double metal hook for a stable vent connection
Instead of relying only on surface friction, the LP923 uses a double metal hook that reaches behind a compatible vent blade. Tightening the rear control forms a more stable connection between the hook, vent blade and front support surface.
The hooked design can provide better resistance to road vibration than a simple push-in rubber clip, but it must be installed on a structurally sound vent blade and tightened carefully.

Position the phone away from the centre of the vent
The swing-arm design lets you move the magnetic head above, below or beside the vent instead of placing the phone directly over the vent opening. This can preserve more airflow and improve screen visibility.
The amount of airflow obstruction depends on the vehicle’s vent design, phone size and selected position. Avoid the absolute claim that the mount can never block a vent.
Multi-angle positioning for a clearer view
The rotating magnetic head and adjustable arm let you position a compatible phone in portrait or landscape orientation. Adjust the angle for navigation while keeping the screen away from important dashboard controls.
Set the viewing angle before beginning the journey. Do not reposition the mount, type, watch videos or perform distracting operations while driving.
MagSafe-compatible and adaptable to other phones
Direct attachment
MagSafe-equipped iPhone models from the iPhone 12 generation onward can attach directly when used without a case or with a properly aligned MagSafe-compatible case.
Other iPhones and Android phones
Use the supplied adhesive magnetic-ring accessory on the outside of a suitable phone case. Position the ring centrally according to the supplied instructions.
Ordinary non-magnetic cases
A standard case placed between a MagSafe phone and the mount can significantly weaken magnetic attraction. Fit the ring accessory or change to a magnetic case.
Using the supplied magnetic ring
- Apply the ring to the outside of a clean, dry and smooth phone case.
- Follow the alignment instructions so the ring is centred correctly.
- Allow the adhesive to bond for the period stated in the supplied instructions before attaching the phone.
- Adhesive may not bond reliably to silicone, leather, fabric, heavily textured or oily surfaces.
- Avoid attaching the ring directly to a delicate phone finish unless the instructions explicitly permit it.
- Incorrect ring positioning can reduce holding force and may affect wireless-charging alignment.

The holder combines an aluminium-alloy magnetic head, protective silicone contact surface, high-strength ABS and PC structural components, and a reinforced metal vent-hook mechanism.
The silicone contact area helps reduce direct rubbing against the back of a compatible phone or case. Inspect the mount periodically for looseness, deformation or wear.
How to install the air-vent mount

Inspect the vent
Choose a straight, undamaged blade within the specified depth and thickness limits.

Loosen the hook
Rotate the rear control to extend the double metal hook sufficiently for the selected blade.

Hook behind the blade
Insert the hook carefully and confirm that both hook surfaces are correctly positioned.

Tighten carefully
Tighten until the mount is stable. Do not overtighten or force the mechanism against a fragile blade.

Set the viewing angle
Move the arm and rotate the head before driving so the phone does not obstruct your view.

Test before driving
Attach the phone, gently test stability and recheck the mount after travelling over rough roads.
Safe-use guidance
- Install, adjust and test the holder only while the vehicle is safely parked.
- Do not position the mount within an airbag deployment path.
- Do not allow the screen to obstruct the road, mirrors or dashboard warning indicators.
- Support the phone while removing it so that excessive pulling force is not transferred to the vent.
- Check the tightening control and vent blade periodically.
- Avoid directing prolonged hot air from the vehicle heater at the phone.
- Remove the phone if the mount becomes loose or the vent blade begins to bend.
- Follow all applicable laws concerning phone use and screen positioning while driving.

Does this mount charge the phone?
No. SKU 65185 is a magnetic phone holder only. It does not provide wireless or wired charging.

Which iPhones attach directly?

Does it work with Android phones?
Yes, when the phone or case has a compatible magnetic ring. Use the supplied adhesive ring with a suitable smooth case when native magnetic attachment is unavailable.
Will it work through an ordinary phone case?

Does it fit circular air vents?
No. The double-hook mechanism is not designed for circular, turbine-style or ball-shaped vents.
What vent sizes are supported?
The current specification lists a maximum blade depth of approximately 25.41mm and thickness of approximately 4mm. Vehicle vent construction can still affect compatibility.
Will the mount damage my air vent?
Correct installation on a strong compatible blade should minimise risk, but overtightening, incorrect installation or using a fragile vent can cause damage. Stop using it if the blade bends or loosens.
Does it completely avoid blocking airflow?
The offset arm can reduce obstruction by moving the phone away from the vent’s centre. Actual airflow depends on the vehicle, vent, phone size and chosen position.
Can the phone be rotated horizontally?
Yes. The magnetic head rotates for portrait or landscape positioning.
Is the 2.5kg figure the maximum phone weight?
No. It is a laboratory magnetic-pull figure under specific conditions. It should not be interpreted as permission to mount a 2.5kg device.
Can hot air from the vehicle heater affect the phone?
Yes. Prolonged hot airflow can increase phone temperature. Redirect or close the vent if hot air is blowing directly onto the phone.
Should I adjust the holder while driving?
No. Install, adjust and test the mount while safely parked. Follow applicable laws concerning phone use while driving.
Can the mount be transferred between cars?
Yes, if both vehicles have compatible vents. Loosen the hook fully and remove it carefully without pulling or twisting the vent blade.
What warranty applies?
