The UGREEN LP120 Air Vent Car Phone Holder secures a compatible smartphone between spring-loaded, silicone-lined arms. Its compact vent-mounted design, 360° adjustable joint and open lower edge make it convenient for navigation, hands-free calls and wired charging while your vehicle is stationary or in normal use.

Check your phone and case dimensions

The holder is designed for most conventional smartphones measuring approximately 60–89 mm across. The combined thickness of the phone and case must be below 11 mm.

Compact mounting with a smaller vent footprint

The miniature cradle attaches directly to a suitable horizontal air-vent blade. Its compact body helps preserve more usable vent area and avoids placing an adhesive pad or suction cup on the dashboard or windscreen. Actual airflow obstruction depends on the vehicle’s vent size, position and selected mounting location.

Spring tension holds the phone from both sides

Extend the two side arms, position the phone centrally and release them. The internal spring structure draws the arms back towards the phone, creating a snug mechanical grip without requiring magnets or an adhesive plate on the device.

Silicone-lined contact points help reduce movement, vibration and scratching. Holding performance depends on correct installation, phone dimensions, case material, vent condition and road conditions.

Designed specifically for suitable horizontal vent blades

Before purchasing, examine the shape, direction, spacing and strength of your vehicle’s air-vent blades. The mounting clip is intended for a firm horizontal blade measuring no more than approximately 4.5 mm thick.

Adjust the screen through 360°

The adjustable joint allows you to rotate the phone between portrait and landscape orientations and alter the viewing angle. Complete all positioning before driving and make sure the phone does not obstruct the road, mirrors, instrument panel or vehicle controls.

Metal reinforcement with protective contact surfaces

The holder combines an engineered plastic body, metal-reinforced spring structure, aluminium-alloy arm elements and silicone contact surfaces. The silicone helps protect the phone and vent blade when the holder is correctly fitted and removed without excessive force.

Straightforward phone insertion and removal

The extendable arms allow a compatible phone to be inserted or removed with one hand. For safety, only insert, remove or adjust the phone while the vehicle is parked in a safe location.

Open access for a separate charging cable

The cradle does not cover the centre of the phone’s lower edge, allowing many compatible charging cables to remain connected while the phone is mounted. This is a passive holder—it does not include wireless charging, a charging cable, a car charger or any powered components.

How to install and use it

1. Inspect the vent: Select a firm horizontal blade no more than approximately 4.5 mm thick.
2. Fit the mounting clip: Push the silicone-lined clip straight onto the blade until it sits securely.
3. Check stability: Gently test the mount before adding the phone. Do not use it if the vent blade bends excessively or the holder slides.
4. Open the arms: Extend the spring-loaded arms far enough to accommodate the phone.
5. Insert the phone: Centre it between the silicone-lined arms and slowly release the arms.
6. Set the angle: Adjust portrait, landscape and tilt positioning before driving.
7. Recheck regularly: Confirm that the phone, holder and vent blade remain secure, especially after travelling over rough roads.

Important driving and installation safety

• Install, remove and adjust the phone only while safely parked.
• Do not position the phone where it obstructs the road, mirrors, instruments or controls.
• Keep the mount outside all airbag deployment zones.
• Do not use it on an incompatible, loose, cracked or fragile vent blade.
• Avoid twisting or sharply pulling the holder when removing it from the vent.
• Extreme road vibration, an oversized phone or an incompatible case can reduce stability.
• Prolonged hot airflow may heat the phone and affect its performance or charging speed.
• Always follow applicable traffic laws concerning mobile-device use.
